Darren’s first love is the guitar and his specific area of expertise is in bringing this versatile instrument to the forefront of music production. He specialises in a wide range of guitar-based genres including energetic gypsy jazz, calming folk finger-picking melodies, dirty grunge, rock and indie tracks and bass driven funk vibes. His joy of performing live and producing music pulsates throughout all of his compositions, ensuring that the style, tempo and emotion perfectly complements the visual media which it is designed to support.

Darren’s compositions have been used by a variety of clients including Sainsbury’s, the National Lottery, Starbucks and Amazon, as well as on television programmes such as Love Island, The Undateables, Nigella’s Cook Eat Repeat and Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig, and many others.

Darren finds inspiration through his many other loves including playing bass in a rock covers band, walking his beautiful labradoodle Josie, spending time with his loving wife Emma and managing the teenage ups and downs of his twins!
