DOWN TIME
In my spare time I enjoy playig games with my family, writing php code and making chat bots that integrate with ai and RAG systems. I am also currently learning python and c++.
I also perform in The Black Jeans indie rock band.
GAME MUSIC
I am extremely excieted to have composed the music and sfx for 6 indie games and prepared the audio events using FMOD studio ready for integration with Unreal Engine 5.4.2.
Below are some details of this work.
Games
For each of these games, I collaborated with the creative team for each project. Working to the brief and references, I created the title music, in-game dynamic music, and sound effects for each game. All sounds were created in Logic Pro in my home studio and then integrated into FMOD. I guided each programmer through connecting FMOD with Unreal using the required plugins to ensure the setup was working. All further integration of FMOD into the games was completed by the programmers.
I have also implemented audio by attaching events to actors and trigger boxes, among other techniques. I have used a range of audio playback methods in FMOD, including simple play event sounds, play music events, loop music (with fade-ins and fade-outs), and dynamic tracks that change depending on parameter values (such as during boss fights) by using both marker and magnet regions. Additionally, I have created various soundscapes and effects using randomisation, scatterer instruments, and additional plugins such as reverb and 2D/3D spatializer sounds.
